When I interviewed Janene Rox, Director of the Cronulla Preschool, about winning and managing early learning grants, she touched on two key aspects of grants:

• Winning grants as a grant seeker

• Suggestions for funding providers.

There are some key learnings for funding providers that I was really keen to pull out and share with you, as funding providers, directly.

This Bonus Episode provides some excellent feedback from the frontline on how you as funding providers can:

• Provide useful feedback to your unsuccessful, and successful, grant applicants. Grant applicants are very keen to learn, and your feedback is a critical element to helping them write better and more competitive applications.

• Receive higher quality grant applications - ultimately, aiming to receive more eligible applications and less ineligible ones!

• Provide a personal touch - it means the world to grant applicants.
